Vitiligo is medically complex. Treatment response, side effects, and prognosis vary significantly from person to person. Decisions about your health belong in a clinical relationship, not on a webpage.
2. Lived experience caveat
Both co-founders of VitiligoMart live with vitiligo. Avani Chandel was diagnosed at three and grew up with the condition. Sanjay Chandel discovered his at twenty-four and chose full depigmentation therapy in 2008; he writes the depigmentation pathway content on VitiligoMart and produces video education at The Vitiligo Experience on YouTube.
Personal experience adds context and warmth that clinical writing often lacks. It does not replace it. What worked for one person may not work for another. What caused side effects in one person may be tolerated by another. We share personal stories to illustrate, not to instruct.
If you are weighing a treatment because someone on this site shared their experience with it, that is a starting point for a conversation with your dermatologist, not a substitute for one.
3. We do not guarantee that content is current
Vitiligo research evolves quickly. New treatments are approved. Old assumptions are revised. Studies are retracted. We do our best to date, review, and update content (see our Editorial Policy), but we cannot guarantee that every article reflects the very latest evidence or regulatory status at the moment you read it.

4. Treatment availability and regulation vary by country
A drug, device, or therapy that is approved in one country may be unavailable, off-label, or prohibited in another. Reimbursement, prescription status, and clinical practice vary widely. Where we describe a treatment, we cannot tailor that description to every legal and clinical context worldwide.
